divorce,lawyer?

my divorce is going into default which means the defendant has not filed an answer to my complaint,so im waiting to see if they give me a default hearing,my question is,I live in Spain (divorce filed in MD),can i get a lawyer to represent me instead of traveling all the way up to the us?we have a 6 year old daughter,no debts no property together,Daughter has been living with me in spain.We have been seperated living apart for2 years now.Do I have to go to court or can I have a lawyer representing my case?
